ACRYLAC

ACRYLAC cut sheets are obtained by means of a process involving coextrusion of layers of ABS (Acrylonitrile-Butadiene-Styrene) and of PMMA (Polymethyl-Methacrylate).

It offers an excellent appearance and a compact abrasion-resistant surface with high resistance to weathering agents.

Market requirements have led us to focus production on two standard types: one for indoor use and one for outdoor use; the extreme versatility of the coextrusion process allows us to adapt the product to customer's specific needs.

INDOOR USE
It is a coextruded sheet mainly developed for the sanitary accessories market. The PMMA layer underlines the lustre of the product and protects the underlying ABS from chemical abrasion by the main solvents used for cleaning and disinfection, while its exceptional hardness ensures protection against scratches and abrasion. Thanks to the lower thermal conductivity of the material, the surface of the finished product is warm and pleasant to touch.

OUTDOOR USE
It is a coextruded sheet developed for outdoor applications. The layer of coloured PMMA guarantees protection against UV rays and preserves the product against ageing and colour streaking.

Thanks to these features and its excellent appearance, this product is widely used in a large number of fields: accessories for cars, buses and industrial vehicles, boxes, bags and suitcases, swimming pool accessories, shower bases and wash basins, industrial articles, caravans and boats.

Acrylac sheets are available in our standard colours or matched as per sample, including the embossed versions.
