PS/PE FOIL - MP STIR LB P/S

Multilayer foil made of a polystyrene base and by a PE layer which may come into contact with the product or with the lid.

The base polymer of LB P (peelable) type and LB S (sealable) type is a GPPS and HIPS mixture.

As the impact resistance/rigidity/elastic module may vary, it is possible to satisfy the end user's specific requirements.

Main feautures:
low barrier to gases and to aromas; low permeability to moisture; very good chemical resistance of the PE layer to acid and base substances, to oils and to greasy products. It is suitable to be used at low temperatures; it is available in glossy and matt finishes.

MP STIR HB P/S - MPX HB P/S

Multilayer film with a polystyrene base, an EVOH layer as a barrier and a PE layer in contact with the product.

The base polymer of HB P (peelable) type and HB S (seelable) type high barrier films is polystyrene:

• HIPS/GPPS blend for MP STIR base; it is available in a white, opal and other colours suitable to come into contact with foods;
• SBS/GPPS blend for MPX base, when a high transparency is required.

The possibility to adjust resiliency/rigidity/elastic module enables us to satisfy the end user's specific requirements.

Main features:
High barrier to gases, to aromas and to moisture; very good chemical resistance of the PE layer to acid and base substances, to oils and to greasy products. It can be processed easily, it is available in glossy and matt finishes.
