With excellent workability, MP STIR polystyrene is used in a wide range of fields, such as cups for yoghurts and ice creams, plates for take-away pizzas, food packagings in general, display units, compartment boxes for fruit, egg-boxes, picnic plates and cups, flower bases and sowing trays, drum tops, the insides of boxes, and other packagings for non-food products, furniture finishings, bases for flocculations etc.
One of most important features is the constancy of production parameters, which means constant specifications for the users.

MP STIR - Cut sheets

Our long experience and the specific requirements of our customer were essential in the development of this material, enabling us to offer a product which combines all the very best features: excellent thermoformability - Excellent workability with many tools - high impact resistance - can be screen - printed and glued.
MP STIR cut sheets are therefore used in a wide range of sectors, such as caravan and car accessories, illuminating signs, display units, toys, refrigerator components, and door liners (MP STIR FRC, MP STIR CP) do-it yourself, home furnishing, office furniture, technical items and other products.
MP STIR is fully recyclable and meets the main standards on waste disposal. Having gained many years’ experience, our technical staff are able to advise customers on the materials which would best suit their requirements.
It is available in gloss (R/L) and matt (R/R) finish, in a vast range of colours from the standard range, or to customers’ own colour match requirements, in colours or with anti-static treatment on one side, or in mass.

MP STIR cut sheeets are available with the following finishes

• R/L gloss/matt
• R/7 impact-resistant gloss/matt
• R/R matt/matt

and with embossed finish: B,D grains available; in a vast range of colours from the standard range or to bespoke samples, with anti-static treatment on one side or in mass.

Our product range additionally includes:
MP FRC and MP CP have good resistance to environmental stress cracking. They are often used for thermal moulding fridge false doors and cells, thanks to their resistance to some hydrocarbons used in the formulation of the polyurethane isolating foams.

MP WR shock-resistance polystyrene for external applications, having better resistance to ultra violet light and to atmospheric agents.
